Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and personal data. This page explains what is deleted, what may be retained, and how to make a request.

How to request deletion

Staff and members can request deletion from inside the app (Settings, then Request account deletion) or by emailing us. To protect academy records, we verify that a request comes from the account holder before acting on it.

You can also email hello@sportsassistantbd.com from the address or phone number on your account with the subject "Delete my account". Include your full name and the academy you belong to.

What is deleted

Your personal profile data: name, contact details, date of birth, photos, and login credentials. Once verified, this is removed or anonymized within 30 days.

What may be retained

An academy is often legally required to keep certain business records, such as financial and invoice history, for accounting and audit purposes. Where that applies, those records are retained for the required period and detached from your personal profile where possible. Shared academy records are not deleted because one individual submits a request; the academy administrator controls the academy's own account.

Timeline

We confirm receipt of your request promptly and complete verified deletions within 30 days, unless a longer legal retention period applies to specific records.
