Sports Assistant BD ("we", "the app") provides academy management software to sports academies in Bangladesh. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Each academy is the owner of its members' records; we process that data on the academy's behalf.
Who controls your data
Sports Assistant BD provides and operates this service in Bangladesh and is the data controller for the purposes of this policy. We handle contact by email rather than post; reach us at the email address below.
The academy you belong to decides what member data is collected and how it is used. We store and process it for the academy as its service provider. For questions about your own record, contact your academy first; you can also contact us using the details below.
Information we collect
Account and profile: name, phone number, email, address, date of birth, gender, blood group, and government or birth-certificate identifiers where the academy requires them.
Photos: member profile photos and product photos, taken with the camera or chosen from the device gallery.
Membership and activity: sport, batch, coach, performance notes, attendance and check-in records, notices, match participation, and store orders.
Financial records: fees, dues, invoices, expenses, and payment entries. These are records of payments made in the real world; the app does not collect or process card or bank-account credentials and does not take payments inside the app.
Technical: login identifiers and operational logs needed to keep accounts secure.
How we use it
To run academy operations: attendance, membership, billing records, reporting, and access control.
To send transactional messages (for example attendance, dues, and account notices) by SMS and email, and promotional messages only where permitted and consented to.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for third-party advertising. There is no third-party advertising or tracking SDK in the app.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the service: an SMS gateway (MiMSMS) for text messages, an email provider for email, and cloud hosting (Google Cloud) for the servers. These providers process data only on our instructions.
Children and guardians
Academy members may be minors. Where a member is under 18, the academy is responsible for obtaining guardian consent for enrollment and data processing. Guardians may contact the academy, or us, to review or correct a minor's data.
Data retention
We keep records for as long as the academy maintains its account and as required for legal, accounting, and audit purposes (5 years for financial records). When an academy leaves the service, its data is deleted or anonymized after 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data. See our account deletion page for how to request deletion. Note that some records an academy is legally required to keep (for example financial records) may be retained even after a deletion request.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and access is restricted to authorized academy staff and our operators. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new update date.
